From the small goddess series... investigating pre-historic Goddesses in western civilization and earth centered worship.

Semi-archaeological detailed delicate drawings are combined with raw and emotional brushstrokes of golden paint, a symbol of the treasure of our encounters, the dramatic heritage and the mysterious dance of Life... the goddess is at the centre of... .

Men I was on a ship with...
over the mountains, across the sea.
I remember his scar.
Backboard at first glimpse
intangible meeting.
Small strokes, one after the other.
Layers of eyes.
Blessed one.
A big leap of imagination...

like a sailor's tattoo.

"In this ongoing series I paint humans and beings from present, past and future... Each drawings is accompanied with an individual poetic pencil line describing the mood, situation or essence of this BEING. Sometimes it is the same being, at different times in life. Sometimes it is the same Being, at different life-times."

"During the summer, I worked as a p/t nature guide in the local National Park, Sächsische Schweiz, near the Czech border, taking children and teens on educational hikes. Many hours in the forest enchanted me again to paint those magical rocks, gulches and trees... in my studio, they re-appear before my internal eyes..."

"Rocks are somewhat important to me since my childhood. Where I grew up, there are many amazing rock formations  (granite, sandstone), natural rocks and man-build rock walls... I find rocks fascinating, they are around and alive since aeons of time, a quiet stable presence I admire."

" 2012-2014 I published a Blog called o-o-be with drawings and poetry. This series organically came out of the Faces series. Parallel I was into and drawing sea fish and underwater scenes, so my Beings changed into watery creatures... they are no longer human. Perhaps memories of shapeshifting from Atlantian times? "
